Identical in every respect to the 1095 versions, except for the application of a small “artistic license.”
Make no mistake: there is no historical reference or proof that the Manchurian Meizhēnjiàn (plum needle) arrowhead was ever made using Damascus steel techniques, but just because there is no available evidence doesn’t mean it can’t be made in our modern era.

I invite you to take a moment to read the general information given on the page Méizhēnjiàn 1095.

These Meizhēnjiàn Damas versions are exactly the same in all size details as those above, the “only” difference is the increased weight and hardness achieved through the application of genuine Damascus steel techniques.

No snake oil, magic dust, paint, or treatment was used here. They are all made entirely by hand; no machines were used—forged from a combination of 1095 hard steel and 5020 Japanese super-hard steel. Heated, hammered, bent, cooled, heated, hammered, bent, cooled, repeated, many times by a highly skilled arrow smith with many years of experience in the craft.

Once again, there are absolutely no joints or welds, they are all one piece, incredibly strong, very heavy for heavy bows and arrows, and I hope you will agree, very beautiful to the eye.

As one might expect from handmade pieces, their weight all varies slightly by a few grains – the average weight is 580 gn/37.6 g.
